No one likes lukewarm coffee, but no one wants to burn their mouth either. The Nano Heated Wireless Mug aims to eliminate those discomforts from your life by allowing you to keep your hot beverages at the ideal drinking temperature for 45 minutes.
The gadget is the brainchild of Chicago firms Design HMI and Green Lama. Appreciating that we’re all fed up of ruined coffee in some way, they have created a 16 oz. mug with an integrated heating element that evenly distributes heat throughout your beverage for a superior drinking experience. You can charge it via any USB connection and it will supposedly maintain enough of a charge to heat seven beverages before needing to be plugged back in.
The device, which is reportedly ready for production, switches off after 30 minutes to save energy, but still manages to keep the beverage at a drinkable temperature for an additional 15 minutes. With an optional wireless charging plate add-on, you don’t even have to worry about the USB cable cluttering your space. Simply placing your mug on the plate charges the battery.
